Welcome Reception

The Congress will start early evening of Tuesday 25th with the official Opening Ceremony at the Dresden International Congress Centre. Formal opening of the Congress will start with the IULTCS anthem, the Water Music by Georg Friedrich Händel, presented by Dresden´s Youth Symphony Orchestra. This Orchestra of about 50 young musicians will also accompany the subsequent Welcoming Addresses of the IULTCS President, representatives of the State Government and the City of Dresden, the IULTCS Merit Award Ceremony and the presentation of the winners of 2019 Young Scientist Grants.
The Opening Ceremony will then merge into a Welcome Reception, an informal get together providing the opportunity to explore the venue, to mingle with co-participants and to warm-up for the Congress. The Opening Ceremony and Welcome Reception are included for Congress participants.
