Your guide will welcome you at the registration desk at the International Congress Centre and will take you past the Dresden Zwinger and the chimes made of Meissen Porcelain to the Royal Palace.
Dresden’s Royal Palace was once the hub of power for the Saxon princes and kings. In 1985, reconstruction began on the palace to create a museum complex. It contains the Kupferstich-Kabinett (Collection of Prints, Drawings and Photographs), the New Green Vault which was opened in September 2004 and since September 2006, the Historic Green Vault can once again be admired in its original rooms. The Türckische Cammer (Turkish Chamber) containing countless small treasures. Additionally, the prince gallery and the main hall were restored. The complete renovation of the Palace is scheduled in 2019.
